One of IFIH’s main tasks has been to network with individuals and organizations sharing similar objectives. As a result, IFIH has contributed to a number of events in the last few years, offering suggestions, material, or names of potential participants. A selection:

Global Dharma Conference 2003 (USA) organized by Hindu Students’ Council at New Jersey on 25-27 July 2003.

Orientation Course on Research for National Resurgence organized by the Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram in collaboration with the Cochin University at Aluva, Kerala, on 21-23 August 2003.

Seminar on Indian Knowledge Systems organized by the Indian Institute of Advanced Study at Shimla on 29 September to 1st October 2003.

National Symposium on Cultural Education in 21st Century India organized by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Deemed University) at Ettimadai (Coimbatore) on 8-9 May 2004.

National Symposium Philosophy and Practice of Education for India organized by Sri Aurobindo Samiti at Kolkata on 26-27 November 2004.

Youth Symposium & National Essay Competition organized by Swastic at IIT-Roorkee in March 2006.

Symposium on Science and Spirituality in Healing organized by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and Samvad India Foundation at Coimbatore on 15-17 January 2008 (in association with Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, and IFIH).


IFIH has also been assisting a group of young Indians in the creation of an all-India Students’ Forum for India’s Heritage intended to network students with an interest in Indian culture. The core group emerged from IIT-Kharagpur and IIT-Roorkee students, who conducted many cultural events on their campuses.
